long post today.
a couple of things to update.
okay first up : obs.
it was damn FUN.but tiring.
my watch is like.so cool la.
the first couple of days we were like.
hmm.girls' school.so different.
but anyway after dat we more or less like.
bonded la.hahas.
even the guys.
hahas.and chio bu rocks!
did kayaking the first day.
quite okay la.capsize.kayak here and there.
jing was like so cute.
she was like.huh how to do i forgot.
hahas.but yeah dat was abt it la.
slept in a tent.damn stuffy la.
and noisy.
you can like.hear wads going on in the next tent la.
cooked outdoor for the first time too.
the rice took like.so long to cook.
and in the end when we ate it it wasnt even soft la.
dat meal was like.euw.
and we made a mess out of everything.
okay second day.
we did the high element stuff.
practised climbing and belaying? and everything.
den did zipline.
i didnt know you just stepped out and go la.
den when chewyien said you can go i was like.huh just like dat?
and the log thing.
the spaces in between are like.huge.
bindy and serene did the more difficult one la.
and they reached the top! girl power!
left the campsite in the evening.
hiked for like 30 minutes to some beach like area.
the bag was like so damn heavy la.grr.
chewyien made us carry so much food.
and as usual.we pitched and cooked and ate in the dark.
and jinfu and aaron made milo dat they were so protective of.
we couldnt bathe at all la.
no toilet.have to pee in the bushes.
they even provided a shovel for digging a hole to shit in.
hahahahas.pathetic.
did trekking the whole of the 3rd day.
DAMN TIRING.
i have no idea why we have to like.
go all the way to some 'secret' garden
and den head like 4km to some reservoir
which was like so near where we started off in the first place.
but oh well.we did dat anyway.
backtracked a couple of times.
apprantly we hiked 12 km dat day.
and pulau ubin is only 8km in diameter.
it rained at night.
lightning.thunder.everything la.
quite scary.but cool.
on thurs we went for our sea expedition.
and got LOST thanks to our chio and chio-er instructors
who couldnt recognise the area
due to "overgrown mangroves".
the mangrove 'river' is more like a swamp la.
so muddy.and dirty.and disgusting.
kayaking out in sea was the best la.
especially like.the last part.
we were kinda against the current.
the there was like wind and everything.
and everytime a boat passed by we would be rocked by its waves.
tiring.but FUN.
slept in the tent again at night.
and joan's tent had like all sorts of insects in it.
the 3 of them came out screaming la.
so funny.
didnt do anything much on the last day la.
stock check and area cleaning.
we had to pay like 19.50 for loss of stuff.
and we cleaned the instructors toilet and cleared some shoes.
den went on to slack ard til it was our turn to buy stuff.
and den we finally got back to mainland at like 2 plus.
the secruity guard at the jetty squashed my cert while checking la.grr.
we took a bus without knowing where it leads to.
in the end we stopped at hougang and got onto a train.
ate at plaza sing since we had to stop over to take 190 home.
there we were like.back to civilisation! no chlorinated water !
but anyway.obs was fun la really.
while it was happening it seemed slow and tiring.
but now dat its done its like.hey it was fun.
except the mosquitoes.
we were like.live feed for these blood sucking creatures.
i survived the nights on the ground in the tent.
i survived the outdoor cooking.
i survived the 12km trekking.
i survived the 8hour plus of kayaking.
and i survived WITHOUT spraining my ankle !!!
celebrate !

it was all so sudden.too sudden.
i think neither the conductors nor us actually anticipated for this like.now.
and i think we at least deserve to know WHY.
