this week was my first full week of school, with lectures and tutorials.and cos most of my tutorials are on odd weeks, so this week is the 'busiest' i'll be in school for just mundane lectures and tutorials.it's been quite okay i guess, considering i know like nobody in my tutorial groups.so just go and smile and say hi.most pple are quite friendly.i'm now like an expert in looking out for 'loners' just like myself to make friends with.haha, but i realised quite alot of pple do go to lectures and tutorials alone.at least i always have someone to go lecture with!
out of the 4 days i go to school, on 3 of the days i have to be in sch at either 8am or 9am.which is really quite bad, not only cos i have to wake up when it's still dark, but also cos i need to fight with every other driver out there for my right of space on the road.i think i've become agressive for a p-plate holder.i'm not even a month-old driver!haha.but i think it's part nurture too, the whole past two years in ac my dad drove a race car.haha even the old manual tiny red car seemed like it flew.anyway my point is that driving at peak hour is not cool.i take an hour or sometimes more to get to school at that time, while in the afternoon it takes me like 20mins to reach home.ridiculous.
i want to thank God for all the provision He has given to me.friendly friends in class and lectures, tutorial slots which fit into my timetable, keeping me (and the car) safe on the roads in the mornings, and for just allowing me to move on from dwelling on what i dont have, to being content and satisfied with what i DO have.(:
i'm giving tuition at 10am tmr!haha if yurong didn't remind me i would have probably slept til noon :p
