worship is a huge component in my life. maybe it's cos i've kind of grown up in the minstry. but i think if i was not in the ministry, i would not have learnt a lot of things. i love how lyrics can just jump of of the paper at times, and strike you hard. i love how you can be plugged into the ipod such that the music kind of becomes background music, until a certain part of a song just grabs your attention. i love how i can be in the toilet and a song just rolls around in my head. i'm certainly not the type of person who can sit still and absorb an entire sermon. or lecture as a matter of fact. i feel that i learn more about His word and His promises for me from songs. and it's so cool to see song lyrics appear as verses in the bible. don't seem to have that often nowadays though. i think i'm just super inclined to music. but not just any music, but particularly music in a worship band. i can sit at home and sing along to cds the whole day. during camp, i felt that i could go on for hours singing and praising Him. i think that's my dream job. to just sing worship songs to Him. what a life! haha. i should just die now, since that's what we'll be doing in heaven. :p
